Tanvir Qureshi's original career was in Information Technology as a Software Developer in the Communications Industry. But after a decade in that industry a childhood injury became aggravated and affected his career.
It was at this point that Tanvir decided to pursue a career in law because he had to face the wrath of a large employer alone. As he was unable to get the right legal advice, his aim has become to help those who are unaware of their legal rights.
Tanvir was called was Called to the Bar in October 2003 but decided to cross qualify due to family commitments. Tanvir qualified as a Solicitor in September 2005.
Tanvir is highly experienced in civil litigation, human rights and employment law.
Tanvir remains active in representing Health Care Professionals facing disciplinary action with their regulator. Recently, Tanvir has been extremely busy representing NHS medical staff with employment related problems.
In addition to the management of the office Tanvir loves to represent the underdog and is currently involved in Banking Litigation, representing clients who have been treated unfairly by the banks during the current credit crunch.
His ambition is to grow the Mellor & Jackson practice and give the clients the highest quality legal service available. Mellor & Jackson treat all their clients as individuals and all our staff are committed to this philosophy.
On a personal note Tanvir is married to his wife Saima and they have three lovely children.
